Righteous Baby Laundering Instructions:
· Diapers, contours, and doublers need to be washed and dried a couple of times to achieve their maximum absorbency. The fabrics have been prewashed so you can put them on your baby when they arrive if you prefer to not wash them first. · One cycle on COLD with one tablespoon of detergent and a half cup of baking soda to thoroughly rinse your diapers. Soaking for several hours or overnight is recommended (especially with poopy diapers!). · One cycle on HOT with an extra rinse with ¼ - ½ scoop of detergent (too much detergent can leave a residue buildup on your diapers). Add ½ cup vinegar in the second to last rinse when your diapers need extra freshening. · Dry on MEDIUM until dry. *Line drying in full sun is highly recommended and works great to remove any stains and to increase the longevity of the diapers, doublers, and wipes. · Wash fleece covers and AIOs only with other covers and Polartec® fleece AIOs (natural fibers will attach to the Polartec® fleece in the wash cycle, causing secondary pilling). If pilling doesn’t bother you, wash them however you please, as Polartec® fleece is durable, and washer-dryer safe!. · Essential oils are great for eliminating unwanted odors as well. Just put 6-8 drops of lavender and/or tea tree oil in the HOT wash cycle.

Diapering Tips:
· Doublers are great for heavy wetters and for nighttime diapering when you need more abaorbency. · Polartec® fleece keeps your baby feeling dry, inside and out. Feel free to experiment by trying fleece-lined diapers, especially if your baby is bothered by wetness immediately upon wetting.

Wool Cover & Soaker Washing Tips:
· Although the inner layer of your wool cover has been reinforced with darning underneath the contour snaps, it is highly recommended that you use gentle care when removing a contour. You can use your fingernail to help pull the snaps apart where the contour and cover meet.
· Eucalan Wool Wash is highly recommended for washing wool. Mild baby detergent such as Dr. Bronner’s aloe-vera baby-mild soap also works good if you don’t have Eucalan.
· Wash only once every one to two weeks or if the cover is soiled.
· Hand wash in lukewarm water and rinse thoroughly. Do not wash in hot water.
· Do not wring out; instead, lay the cover flat on a towel, roll them up together, and roll out the excess water.
· Hang or lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
· When you receive your wool cover, it has not been lanolized; this procedure is recommended.
· Dissolve a ¼ teaspoon of lanolin in a cup of warm water. Mix this solution, then, with a bathroom sink full of lukewarm water.
· Let the cover soak in this mixture for five minutes.
· Follow drying directions described above.
· Repeat this lanolizing process after every five or six washings.

Embroidered/Appliqued or Handpainted Covers:
· Please handwash wool appliqued/embroidered items. I do recommend hand washing of the handpainted PUL wraps as well, although this is not necessary. · Line drying is recommended for all appliqued/embroidered items. Fleece dries very quickly! We also suggest line drying handpainted PUL covers as well.
